Mission Statement: The Pflugerville Pops is a community band composed of talented musicians and singers from all ages (high school and up) and all walks of life. The band is configured as a stage / jazz / swing band with singers. The Pops emphasizes camaraderie, fun, and the love of music as its foundation for personal and community involvement, improvement and growth. As a non-profit organization, its primary purpose is to raise money towards advancing musical education by awarding scholarships to musically talented individuals with financial need. The Pops is committed to providing quality musical performances as a full band or smaller ensembles.

Sad to share that the

Pflugerville Pops

was unable to gain enough members to become a viable band.

We believe this is because of the demands placed upon everyone with our challenging economy. We have received tremendous support from the city, businesses, organizations, and the overall community for this project. At some point in the future we hope to revive this project and bring the wondrous sounds of music to our community!
